Chicago Youth Art Exhibit

A fellow Lincoln Park student, Izzy Kurkulis, has recently opened up a new art exhibit on 1st Ward Chop Shop 2033 W. North Ave Chicago, IL. It is open for students ranging from the age 13 to 25 who want to showcase their artwork. The event is hosted by the non-for profit organization Young Chicago Artists. Many student from this school and other school all across the city have applied to sell their artwork. Rising hopeful artists at Lincoln have seen the poster around the school and had the opportunity to become known in the art world. Many experienced artists were there to critique their works. Many of them were bidding for the multiple diverse pieces.

Through this art exhibit many people were given the chance to grow in their artistic skills and prosper in their field. Hopefully next year this exhibit is organized again so new and returning artists can contribute the art community.
